Everyone wants to enjoy a 4 hour work week for 5X the pay, but few understand the mechanics.
The answer is simple - here’s how.
𝘿𝙊𝙉’𝙏 𝙎𝙀𝙇𝙇 𝙔𝙊𝙐𝙍 𝙏𝙄𝙈𝙀
Refuse to trade time for money. I know this is controversial so let me explain. Any time you get paid for doing something for someone else, you’re trading your time for their money.
Yeah, it might be a lot of money. Maybe $100/hour. Maybe $500/hour. It doesn't matter how much/hour.
It’s not the rate that’s the problem. It’s the limit you place on yourself. Really, it's the limit you're placing on your quality of life or your lifestyle.
If you’re doing the work in exchange for money:
There’s only so much time in the day.
There's only so many tasks you can complete.
There’s only so many people you can talk to.
There’s only so many projects you can manage.
There’s only so much 𝗬𝗢𝗨 to go around.
And your income is limited by the number of hours you're willing to sell.
Realize this, If you don't work, you’re not making money. And there lies the root problem of trading time for money. If you’re required to be involved in order to fulfill orders, you’re selling time for money.
But… If you can have someone else do the work. All of the work. So you’re not involved in the work at all… Now you’re not selling your time for money anymore. Now there’s not a limit on growth based on your time.
Where do most people commonly trade time for money?
1. Providing a service where you’re required to be involved in the fulfillment.
2. Business models where the customer wants to or must talk to YOU and only YOU. These certainly aren’t the only places, but they’re the most common ones.
Want to work less? Find a business where duplication of effort results in residual, commissionable income like the network marketing model...or simply
Hire someone else to do your work for you and pay them less so you can keep the difference.
So you have 3 choices:
Keep selling your time until you have none left to sell.
Hire someone to do your work and pay them 1/2 the wage. or
Step out and do something that's duplicatable.
